Jeanne's Story
Met Roger Shelby in December of 1963 and married him in mid 1964.
Returned to college in 1966 after first daughter born.
Second daughter born in 1967. Left college to become a full time mom.
In 1969 I went to work part time for the federal government for 3 years, then full time for two years.
Returned to college until a freind told me of a job with a very prestigeous law firm she worked for.
I worked for that battery of Lawyers in downtown LA until in 1978 we bought first house in Simi Valley, CA and I "retired" again to be a full time mom.
1986 Moved to Sylmar, CA and bought my first "Show Weimaraner". Learned how to show dogs and with my first breeding my girl produced the top winni...Expand for more
ng Weimaraner in the history of the breed. She won so many trophies that we had a room in our Sylmar house that we called the Lily Trophy room. She was the National Champion two years in a row. She broke evey show record for a Weimaraner.
Worked 20 years for the Federal Government and retired the day before my 62nd birthday to a small town in South Central Utah.
We have two horses and three dogs (3rd and 4th generation).
Our property has a barn, box stalls and two corrals for the horses. We also have another house on the property that we will restore someday.
Spend most of the time working with the horses and dogs and when time permits we like to travel in our 5th wheel trailer.
