Jean's Story

Boy, it's a LONG story! I married Mike Magnani just before graduation, was married to him for 16 years and have 2 beautiful daughters, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren! I remarried in 1980 to Charlie Jones who is a song writer and we now live in Austin, Texas. I have worked hard over the years and almost got my bachelor's degree at the University of California, Stanislaus, but moved to Nevada fo...Expand for more
r about 14 years. My husband retired and we moved to Texas for his health in 2005. I retired at 62 (early retirement) and just got a job to supplement my health coverage at Big Lots working part time. My Mother and step-dad are still alive and are in their 80's and still live in California. I have no relatives still living in Alameda, just one close friend that I used to work with at Kaiser in Oakland.
