Jeanne's Story
I love to cook. It hurts me when my family goes and buys something ready-made. My favorite thing is cheesecake and cooking out on the grill and using my wok. My "junk" drawer has pages of receipes that I have tried. How you present the food on the table is also important. Can you tell I'm a MONK person. I've come a long way, but everything, at one time had to be PERFECT! In my long life I have come to realize that was part of my problem growing up- I wanted everything that way. My being adopted didn't help any,and now I have reunited with all of my birth relatives. My natural mom, dad, brothers and sister. They are in Coeur d' Alene,Idaho. That is where I go for my yearly vacation. It is beautiful there. I worked for 32 years at CVS Pharmacy working in various capacities, from management to being a Pharmacy Tech for the last 4 years. That is a whole different part of my life. I'm not there now. I live in Knox,Indiana with my husband of 31 years, Paul. I have a son Steven,37(I named him Justin Paul after Justin Lowe of the Jack Lowe family), we have a son, Korban Paul,28,and a beautiful daughter Emily Jeanine,25 who reminds me every day of myself. I have two grandsons. Alex, 16 and Hunter who is 9. My oldest son and grandsons live in Iowa. I am thankful every day I am alive, and that my husband has remained married to me through tough times of my alcoholic years. I have been sober for four years and am great!! The years at Bellaire were my best, and I should have remained there. I want to go back to college for educ.to help ones cope with dealing with mental stresses of adoption, addiction, and admission to having the problems in the first place. I guess you can say I've grown up!!!!! ME
I always wanted to be a mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was ...Expand for more
a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I walk every day. sometimes 6 miles.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a time, place, and a job!! to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is DD in bellaire, because I need to apologize.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel study room and add on a big dining room with a fireplace.. My dream home would be in the mts..
be consistant and say I LOVE you everyday.
If I won $100 million, I'd give a portion of it to humane society, then spend the rest on family, loving friends and invest rest..
don't even want to go there!!!
My current age is 59. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely wrong! I just began to live!!!.
My best friend would tell you I'm eccentric, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as just crazy..
I refuse to be old and dress OLD! I am carefull not to be outlandish. I do have a jacket from traverse bay woolen co. from 1970 that is still in good shape(red plaid).when I heard Liz claib.died I was really upset! I have every green suit she produced. I love suits with silk blouses. Can you tell I love fashion!!
In 10 years, I hope to be in coeur d' alene,Idaho. I'm going to get there by car,bus whatever it takes!.
I have 2 or 3 dear friends, and we keep our stories to ourselves. sorry
My first job was at shonks orchard, where I got paid 60 cents a lug to pick cheerys. What I remember most about it is I got to wear pants!.
when I was 11 I wrote to the state of oregon and asked who my mon was. I needed her. I still carry the card in my wallet that they returned to me. My mom and natural dad are still in coeur d' alene, idaho and I hope to be with them all real soon.
