Jeannie's Story
Life
After graduating from high school I went to the U of U and graduated with a BSN. During college I was able to backpack around Europe for six weeks. I loved it. After graduating form college I married Jerry Johnson who graduated from "the other Utah college" with a degree in accounting. Little did I know I would get to do tons more traveling marrying him!! We had 2 girls while living in Utah. After my husband went back to school and received an MBA and BS of finance and passing the CPA we moved to Alaska where we loved the fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, sledding and much more outdoor activities. I worked at ALaska Providence Hospital continuing in CCU. We would get the summer overflow from ICU accidents, which mostly consisted of auto accidents, people standing under a calving glacier or a moose implanted through their windshield. We had another girl and finally a son while living in Alaska

March of 1997. We moved back to Utah in August of 1997 to be by family as I went through surgeries and chemo. But I am 7 years free of cancer. In October of 1998 we had another girl. That December my husband took a job for an Oil company in Saudi Arabia. We joined him there in the summer of 2000. We have lived here ever since. I love his jobe because it has given us the opportunity to travel all over. I never could have afforded to travel with my children if we did not live here. My oldest girl is going to college this fall and my youngest will start kindergarten. We plan on staying in Saudi Arabia for another 5 years if the political climate will stay stable enough. We have no control over gas prices, please do not blame us!! Om that time I hope to make it to the two last continents we have not visited-South America and Antartica. Turkey has been my very most favorite place to visit but New Zealand is close on its heals.
