Jeff's Story

Life Not much has changed, except that my back goes out more often than I do. I never got married or had children, just unlucky in love I guess. I still do drafting and play drums, but now I get paid for both. I was performing with A Kiss Tribute based out on Maine called Destroyer. I also used to Impersonate Alice Cooper with my own band called Prince Of Darkness. After high school, I continued to run, exercise and play sports, including semi-pro football. I later attended college to study law enforcement and briefly worked as an EMT in Holliston. I'm currently preparing my house in Lowell to put on the market, so I can move back to Holliston. As silly as it may sound, I've been feeling a little home sick. 4/17/08 Just a quick update, my house is finally on the market and I'm planning my move. 11/9/08 I got no offers, so I let the listing expire. 12/2/09 With the housing market looking better this year, I relisted it and sold it this time. I closed on it yesterday. I'm also closing on 1/5/10 on a house I'm buying on South Street in Holliston. 1/11/10 I actually closed on the 6th and started moving in right away, so now I'm a Holliston resident once again. School My plan was to avoid college and learn a trade in case I didn't end up with a fun job like football or music. As a freshman, I took drafting lab and knew that was what I wanted to do, so I enrolled at Keefe Tech for drafting and attended 2 years. I then returned to Holliston and ...Expand for more
took as many drafting classes as they would allow. After graduation, I went back to Keefe for 1 year as a post grad to complete the drafting course. During that time I did some drafting work through their co-op program. I am now a mechanical engineer, so the plan paid off. College Well so much for avoiding college, later in life I was feeling like a career change, so I decided to go for it. I always wanted to be a State Trooper, so I enrolled into the continuing education program at Dean Junior College. I studied Criminal Justice and maintained a GPA of 4.0. Not only did I earn a spot on the Dean's list, but I almost gave my mother a heart attack. Just kidding. As part of my law enforcement training, I also took an EMT course at Milford Whitinsville Regional Hospital, where I received my EMT certificate. Workplace I began working as a Volunteer EMT for the Holliston Fire Department. To further expand on that, I enrolled into water rescue and lifeguard training at the YMCA. I also trained with the Hopkinton Auxiliary Police for handgun combat. During all this, I was testing for the Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont State Police. After 3 years of that, I finally passed in Rhode Island and gave my notice at work. They were unhappy with the news and made me a generous offer to stay. Well as it turned out, I accepted the offer and I'm still there. So you see, not much has changed. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Military Classified !
