Jeff's Story
Life
After Graduation, I moved to OC to lifeguard. After the season I moved back to Beltsville until the first of the year. My parents moved to Florida to get my mom out of the cold. Mom had asthma bigtime. I follwed them down, took a lifeguard job on the beach in West Palm Bch. Worked for a year to save money for college.
Attended University of Florida and played football for the (Gators) from 82-86. Momma "D" died of cancer during my senior season. I Graduated with a degree in Telecommunications, worked at a couple TV stations, and substitute taught. I got certified as a teacher and taught ESOL ...Expand for more
Biology for a couple years, before becoming a Dean. I relocated my family out of WPB to a slower paced central Florida small town. I coached HS football for 17 years. I'm currently running a drop-out-prevention program at a local HS, but now coaching my son (Quinn-10) in youth sports, and loving it. My daughters (Bryn-7 and Sage-4) are into gymnastics and cheerleading.........oh, and HS Musical. Cole was born Nov. 29, that makes 4. My wife of 12 years (Kristen) also teaches at the same HS. I volunteer at church teaching Sunday school (assist wife), and youth boys on Wed. nights. I've been BLESSED.
