Jeff's Story

Well, I finally retired from being in the fire service for 41 years. Was with Drexel Heights from 1973 to 1982. With Hughes / Raytheon from1982 to 2013 as a firefighter and fire inspector. I still active in baseball. I coached little league for several years but have been umpiring since I was 13. I now (2017) completing my 50th year a little league umpire. th numerous state level games. I also have been chosen by Little League West Region to umpire the 2006 and 2012 Junior Softball and the 2010 Senior Softball west region tournaments. In 2016 I was chosen to umpire the Junior Softball World Series tournament in Kirkland, WA. by Little League International in Williamsport. I've been married to a wonderful women for the last 20 years and have 1 tenacious granddaughter. Retirement is great.
