Jeff's Story
Long story short. Out of HS, pursued professional golf. Played professionally 1979-1981 but didn't win enough money to continue. Had two kids by then.
Had 3 more kids, single parented all 5 since 1991 when Mom left.
Went to seminary in 1981, was in the pastorate for a while but it wasn't a good fit. I am too much of an activist to live in "church life".
started a family business in 1991 installing gym equipment at new school construction. Did that for 17 years.
All kids grown and on their own. I am very close to my kids and consider them my one...Expand for more
unqualified success.
Looking to spend the rest of my life serving the good of others or the planet, whether in Christian missions, politics or whatever. The world has changed so much since 1971 and it's time to restore some of what once was. Not all "new" things are better.
sound like my grandpa used to sound? Maybe, but we can't keep going the way we're going as a nation and in the world at large.
I hope that some day the US can quit making itself the enemy of the world and we can go back to being a source of kindness and goodness in the world.
