Jeff's Story
Back in high school I thought I knew all the answers. Boy was I wrong! I went to work for Northrop Grumman the same year I graduated (1977). I Found out working a full time job and trying to party everynight doesn't work. I managed to keep my job and I got married to Patty Miller in 1982, Patty was from North Torrance High, we had visions of having fun until we were 80. We weren't going to have any kids it was just me and her. A year later we had our first child his name Is Jeffery but he is not a jr. We lived in Lawndale until 1985 then we moved to Torrance and while living in Torrance our second son was born and his name is Shawn. nce until 1990 then we moved to Lancaster also known as the high desert. Boy this was a big difference for somebody who was used to going to the beach on a whim and be there in 10 minutes.
While living in Lancaster our identical twin daughters Shannon and Shana were born in 1991. We were trying for a girl and ended up with 2! Moral of the story is if you go for the 3rd kid beware of twins. Life was good until the neighborhood went downhill, so we moved to Quartz Hill, which is about 10 miles southwest of Lancaster. Once in Quartz Hill we settled in and all the kids were heading toward Quartz Hill High School. Jeffery was the first to graduate in 2001, followed by Shawn in 2007 and finally Shannon and Shana will graduate this year(2009)......to be continued......still got to add a divorce!
