Jeff's Story
Life
"Some of it's magic, some of it's tragic, but I've had a good life all the way." That's me, and yeah, that's probably you. Since leaving North in 1983 I've done the college thing, married once or twice along the way, finished law school and had three great kids. Travis, my oldest, is a junior at OSU. Austin has formed more garage bands then I can keep track of and finally shaved his dreds this summer. Karsyn is 12, going on 18, and loves church and bible camp and all that jazz. She lives in a house full of "stupid boys" but does a great job of putting up with us. Or ignoring us. Same thing I guess.
Me, I was a prosecutor for almost 15 years; now I'm discovering the very pleasant amount of money to be made in private practice. And there's a sense of really changing people's lives.

life is all-star, my love life has been a bit erratic. Lots of home runs, some exciting doubles and triples but a lot of strikeouts along the way. "Though I ran 'em away, they'd come back one day, Still could manage a smile, Sure takes a while, just takes a while."
I like commercials with monkeys, bands that never make anyone's top 40, Dennis Lehane, Mexican beer, old Chevy trucks, smart dogs, Jimmy, leather, jackrabbits, riding my Harley through the onion and chile fields north of town, Spenser, Mexican women, and jumping in a cool lake on a hot desert summer day.
Theme these days is just having fun no matter if anyone is looking, or talking, or both.
I write here and there and hope one day to knuckle down and finish a second novel.
For now I'll just keep on, keepin' on. Hope our paths cross soon.
