Jeff's Story
After high school I attended Brevard College. I was in the Air Force and returned to Brevard in '74. I met and married my wife, Fran, from Newark, Delaware at Brevard College. Fran graduated from UNC-G in '84 and Duke Divinity in 2000. My degree is from High Point University, '94 in Industrial Organizational Phsycology. I attended Duke Divinity COS and graduated in '04. We just celebrated our 34th anniversary this August. Fran and I have three children, Ben (30), Asa (28), and Erin (26). No grandchildren yet. Fran and I are both Methodist Pastors in High Point. My appointment is at Spring Hill UMC (5th year) as Senior Pastor and Fran is Associate Pastor at First UMC (2nd year). ld, and Rhodie, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, 6yrs old. We love to travel and often visit our boys who live near Anderson, SC. Our daughter lives in High Point and is an Admissions Counselor for High Point University. She loves her job! Fran was in Christian Education for 23 yrs and I spent 20 years with the Postal Service in High Point. We are both second career pastors and are both certain that this is what God had in store for us all along. It has been a journey to get to this point but we are both excited about our ministries in our churches and blessed to be doing Kingdom work and know this is where we were meant to be. I hope some of you will share your life experiences and I look forward to attending a 40 year reunion if it can get organized for 2010.
