Jeff's Story
Born in Charlotte NC, Presbyterian Hopsital, Grew up in Mint Hill NC, where I attended Bain Elementary, Northeast Jr. High, and 1 year at Independence High.
In the summer of 1980 my dad got a job in Dallas Texas and the family moved to Lewisville Texas, where I graduated from Lewisville HS in 1982.
After graduation I joined the U.S. Air Force, where I was a Diet Therapy Specialist(hospital cook). I was in the Air Force from Nov. 1982-Jan. 1991.
During this time I was stationed in Del Rio Texas, Hahn AB Germany, and Minot ND. While in the AF I met my first wife, had my first daughter Casey Lauren Shaw. In Jan. 1991 I got a honorable discharge from the AF, and at this point a divorce was in the works.

arried in Dec. 1999. From 2000-2005 I worked for a computer service company in Pineville NC as a parts purchasing manager.
In August of 2008 my wife and I had our first baby together, Jessie Darby Shaw. From June 2005 to May 2010 I worked at Davidson College as a Dining Service Supervisor. In May 2010 I left Davidson, and have been a full-time stay-at-home dad, taking care of Jessie. We went this route to keep her from not going to daycare, which she's never spent a single second at.
Even though I didn't graduate from Independence HS there are many people from there that I grew up with, and many of those that I have lost contact with. Some of you have signed my guestbook, feel free to email me and say hi.
If we went to school together at Bain, Northeast, Independence or Lewisville there is a great chance that I do remember you. From looking at my guestbook I've seen many familiar names.
