Jeff's Story
Attended Principia College 1969-1971 then transferred to U. of Illinois Chicago to study History of art and architecture, graduating in 1975, Moved to NYC in 1977 to be in the Historic Preservation M.S.Program (architecture) at Columbia U. Worked in the art and antiques business after doing training at Sotheby's in 1979. Got my broker's license and began work as a residential real estate broker in Manhattan and have been in the same firm - Corcoran - for that 18 years and have been very successful at that. early 90s. I enjoy socializing and all the arts, entertainment and restaurants that the city has to offer. Enjoy travel. Went to Paris last spring with my dad and have been to a lot of capitals of Europe and went to Buenos Aires for the first time in fall 2009. Am also on the board of the Victorian Society here, a group that educates about the period from 1835 to 1917 and advocates for the preservation of New York buildings of that period that are worthy and threatened by change. Also on the board of the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company - a noted modern company that also has connections to Chicago.
