zones to try new things and who find joy in the unexpected. I enjoy people that know how to let the adventurous child in them play, and how to be a good sport, with carefree, reckless abandon. My great escape is in the snow. My parents started our family skiing the year Squaw Valley held the Olympics. A couple of years ago my son, now 14, told me the cool people snowboard, so the both of us made the switch. Now enjoy all the groomed slopes on our boards. Still put on skis to blast though the soft moguls and I find ecstasy in deep powder on skis or board. My boy is more on his own now and I'm in need a ski/boarding buddy. When ski season ends California's waterways become an awesome adventure. The blooms of nature are astonishing. These days I prefer a guided raft in the big whitewater. I do, however, know of many lovely quite water routes and want to discover more. I own several kayaks and one of them is a two person boat. If your up for some adventure just let me know. I also love exploring natural and urban areas by foot. I have some experiance at rock climbing and enjoy sitting on top of the world. Music was once the center of my life. I spent a large portion of my youth learning and performing music of many styles. Jazz has always been my favorite but I love all the forms that involve improvisation. That includes Rock, the blues and bluegrass. Mozart was a genius at improv. I now play the piano to entertain myself, but it makes my day when someone else is entertained also.".
