Jeff's Story
Life
Following '81 I played two years at Valencia CC on a tennis scholarship and then attended UCF majoring in Psychology. I have worked my entire career as a tennis teaching professional and currently free-lance in the Orlando area. This past year I ran for Orlando City Council. I do volunteer work in several venues. I have volunteered with St. Francis House Homeless Shelter for the past 12 years and am currently serving my 7th term as President of their Board of Directors. In 1990 ...Expand for more
I co-founded Florida's second group devoted to assisting youth dealing with sexual orientation issues. In '92 I founded the Orange Blossom Tennis Association and in '94 I co-founded the Genesis Community Program to serve the children and families of Orlando's Parramore neighborhood and I currently spend 3 afternoons a week with the kids in this after-school program. I live in College Park with my partner (Rai Liauw) of 10 years and attend St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Windermere.
