Jeff's Story
Hi, well a lot has happened since my days at GHS. I went on to broadcast school in Atlanta and learned the radio trade. I came back to Greensboro and worked for six months at the old WBIG 1470 then found a job at a tiny station in Mocksville (WDSL 1520 AM) I worked there for 2 years before returning to Greensboro to first to WBIG then move to television with a postion at WFMY in the master control and tape area. While there I was asked if I would be interested in a job at CNN and I accepted. I was with CNN at the Atlanta headquarters for 3 years (Met Ted Tuner on more than one occasion) bef...Expand for more
ore being offered a job at a satellite earth station in Atlanta called UpSouth Corporation. I have been with this facility since 1985 and am the manager of what is now known as Level 3 Teleport Atlanta.
My Family life began in 1983 with my marriage to Sharon and we had two children, Kenny in 1988 and Timmy in 1993.
Kenny is getting ready for basic training in the national Gaurd and Timmy is trying to get through High School at Eastside High in Covington Georgia.
My life/marraige is going through changes right now and the future is just that...ahead of me. I thank you for reading this.
