Life After 20 years on active duty in the Navy, I'm now working for Computer Sciences Corporation. I spend my spare time at the Pensacola Beach either fishing, boating, or just enjoying the sun and scenery. I love watching DVD's with an awesome surround sound system on a wide screen HD TV. Can't wait for the new DVD players to come out the end of this year (2005) that will play HD DVD's. New DVD's should also be available at the same time. If you have the $$$'s, get the gear!!! I have two sons that are night and day. Anthony (A.J.) will graduate high school in '06. He attends West Florida High School of Advanced Technology. A real brainiac. He's a pretty gifted programmer. He's already proficient in C++, Visual Basic, Java Scripting, PHP, Macromedia Flash, among just a few. He's also a monster with some of the more powerful graphic and web design software. And I thought I was pretty good at designing websites. He totally blows me away. My "youngest", Michael, is more of the Jock type. He's a real extrovert. Gets along with everyone, and isn't afraid to speak his mind. Jocularity is in his blood. Just the other day he was studying for a State Capitol test. He raised his hand and asked his teacher "'Looee-ville' or 'Lewis-ville', what's the proper way to pronounce the capitol of Kentucky?" The teacher replied, "I believe it's 'Looee-ville'". Michael said, so everyone could hear, "I thought it was pronounced 'Frankfurt'!" Everyone laughed, but the teacher. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. More to come later.
