Jeffrey's Story
Life
I graduated from Purdue University in 1994 with a
degree in Atmospheric Science. I proceeded on to
the University of Oklahoma where I obtained a
Master's degree in Meteorology (1998) and a Ph.D.
in Meteorology (2001). Currently I am the Director of Research for the Oklahoma Climatological Survey.

I am married (to the lovely Heather Basara) and have two children.
In my free time I enjoy a number of activities
including camping, hockey, fishing, hunting,
volleyball, building houses for Habitat for
Humanity, traveling, and photography. However, my
favorite activities are golf and storm chasing.
