Jeffrey's Story
Jeffrey (JD) Buckwell Currently lives in Glendora CA, with this Daughter, Grace (11 years old) and his girlfriend, GIsela Lopez. (she's a former Hoover-ite sophmore year, then graduated from Burbamk HIgh CLass of '81)
JD was an actor and writer, gratuating from the Joanne Barron/ DW Brown Theatre Institute, in '91, going on to play small roles in movies and television, as well as many national commercials, such as Coors Light, Pontiac, and Reebok. He's best know for his Guest Starring role on "Dream On!" (HBO Television Series) and his role as Jean-Claude on the NBC Television Special remake of "War of the Worlds."
JD left the Entertainment industry in '96 and made a career changeâ he joined the LAPD. JD went on to work in several specialized Units such as Rampart Narcotics and the SKID Team. JD left the force in 2001 and returned to the Entertainment industry as a Law Enforcment Technical Advisor, and a Screenplay Writer for VMS Prod., on the Paramount Lot.

Of late, JD Buckwell has concentrated on the booming Self-Publishing space, and continues to dedicate his energy towards the development of Intellectual Property into marketable literary/audio/video products.
JD Buckwell has published and/or produced such popular literary works as: Unleashing Genius, The Glimpse, Storms & Clearings, The Blue Ribbon Baker, Old, Alone and Scared, and The Daily Life Plan Journal.
JD Served as Chief Editor and Producer of Serene Scene Magazine from October 2008 to December 2009, and remains as Head Graphic Designer and Photographer. JD is also on the Board of Directors for Serene Foundation, as well as the Advisory Board of Serene Center, Long Beach, CA.
JD's specialties include: product branding, graphic design, publishing, marketing/promotion, copywriting, movie/television production, Intl. literary registration: (ISBN/EAN and Barcode) event production, and copyright/trademark/WGA registration and protection.
2008 UPDATE:
My Creative Consulting and Multi-Media Production Company is growing faster than I can keep-up! I produce about 6 literary works and about 3 Audio Books a year, along with some industrial videos and documentaries. We're now pitching pilots to the networks... wish us luck!
When I have time, I continue to create new artwork for local galleries and Interior Designers.
