Jeffrey Gill:  

Life I currently live in Seattle, Washington, where I have been since late 2012. Originally from Indiana, I moved to Massachusetts in 1982 for graduate school and lived in the Boston area for the next 30 years. My wife, Carolyn, to whom I have been married since 1976, grew up in northern California. After graduating from Muncie Central High School in 1973 I went to the Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota, where I met my wife, Carolyn Shilling. We lived in Japan in 1977-78 where we worked in the church as missionary associates and taught English. When we returned to the States, I began a degree in Religious Studies and East Asian Languages and Cultures at Indiana University and graduated in 1982. Our first child, Elizabeth, was born in 1980. We moved to Boston, Massachusetts, in 1982. I graduated from Harvard Divinity School in 1985, and was ordained in the Episcopal Church in 1988. Our second child, George, was born in 1987. I worked for two different consulting firms from 1985-1990, also serving part time in a parish during those years.
