st, but finally grew to love me. I went home and told my roommate that I had found the woman I wanted to marry. That was the first day that I met her. We were married in 1987. I eventually went to work at Rich's, while she remained at Macy's. Both companies moved us to Birmingham, Alabama in 1989. Linda was from Birmingham, so now we live close to her family. We bought our house in May, 1991 and Linda started a new career at the same time. Her mother bought a small gift shop called the Holly Tree in Brookwood Village. Linda was the new manager and I was the visual person for the shop. In 1993, I started my own business and worked at the Holly Tree at night. In 1996, our son was born, "Miles" David Ruffin Bragdon-Hall, he is now 14 and every bit the teenager. In 1998, our daughter was born, Ursula " Della" Margaret Bragdon-Hall. She is now 12 and turning into quite a young lady. We still live in our first house in Alabaster, Alabama. Linda is now in Nursing School, after closing the Holly Tree in 2007. Linda just graduated and is now employed with St. Vincent's Hospital.".
