Jeffrey Jones:  

Journeyed a long way since days at DCHS. After college and studying abroad I married Ann Iversen (11/1977). We lived on the Northside of Chicago as I started my career in non-profit with the YMCA. Then I was hired as the director of an international non-profit ministry doing community development work in East Africa which brought us to Minnesota. (1986-2020) Over the 8 years the mission agency grew from just a few missionaries to over 50 serving in 5 East Africa countries. In 1994 I went and helped a friend that wanted help to create operational systems for his small company. I did that for a few year while I completed a Masters in Org Leadership at Bethel University. From there in 1997 I went back into international Non-profit ministry as the CFO/COO of World Servants. That was another non-denominational faith based organization that worked in about 16 countries around the world. After 911 international work slowed down and I felt the call to a different vocation. I took my finance and business background and a deep passion to serve people and established a Securities and Insurance practices. I served as an Independent financial adviser from 2003 until 2020. I left the financial services industry when I retired at the end of 2020. During 2020 at the height of the Covid pandemic we sold my securities practice to a great group of guys out of Bloomington MN. In 2003 when I started my Securities practice I also exercise my passion for missions through a web-based international travel health and trip cancellation insurance company that I own and still operate called, International Travel Solutions. It is available for anyone to use and keeps me connected to people around the globe. Over our lives journey, my wife (Ann) and I have had a son and helped raise three Taiwanese kids we became permanent legal guardians of in 1987.
