Jeffrey's Story
Life
Still live in Overland Park. I'm a freelance television technician in sports video production. Received a B.S. in Journalism at Univ. of Kansas. I work out of my house and travel to do work. I have worked at Olympic games, and various other sporting events.
College
I went to KU right after high school; graduated in 1974 and then returned in 1977 to study Journalism; graduated in 1980. I worked in newspaper reporting and advertising, but eventually gravitated towards television production. I have been working as a free-lan...Expand for more
ce sound technician since 1985. Mostly I am involved in live sports productions, which has taken me around the country. I even work on productions at Allen Field House. My work includes all sports and entertainment.
Workplace
I work in audio as a sound technician in live sports television production. As a free-lancer, I am self-employed and have flexible hours. Much of my work is near where I live, but I also travel extensively in the fall while working on college football. I have worked on all sports including Olympic Games.
