Just read Dr Zhivago--it's pretty much the same as my life, except that he lived in early 20th century Russia. I'm doing all the things I should have been doing in high school: exercising (ladies, ask to see photos of my delts, pecs, lats, and abs), having fun, etc. I've written several books, lots of songs, a couple of plays; been to Ecuador, Honduras a couple of times and Cuba three times on mission trips; helped raise a couple of wonderful kids (one of whom [the girl] was an all-district volleyball a...Expand for more
nd all-state academic basketball player--which may come as a shock to those of you who remember that my sport in high school was chess).
August 2021: Since the above post (which was many years ago), I have been on several more mission trips to Cuba, Guatemala (5 times), and Kenya (3 times). My daughter is a lawyer for the US Department of Justice. My son was in Germany for five years studying mathematics. He met and married a young woman from Hong Kong and just 10 days ago, they made us first time grandparents.
