To all my Mather peers... I wish you peace, health, success, contentment, prosperity, and hope in this world gone a little crazy. Laugh often, look for the good in other people, stay safe, help others when possible, and keep smiling (breathing too.... haha). In retrospect, I was a little goofy back in the Mather days... the late 60s. Don't know what I was searching for... Went thru many changes in clothes, hair, sideburns, attitude, friends, bad vices. I was trying too hard to be cool to impress a couple girls, but they had their eyes set on other guys. The only constant throughout was playing music, self taught... keyboards, guitar, harmonica, and some flute after I heard Jethro Tull's 1st album. Music always came easy to me. Our band played at Mather Homecoming Oct '69, introducing a bluesy song recorded by a new group from England called Led Zeppelin, and a new radio hit called "Easy to be Hard" by Three Dog Night, as well as all our usual rock and Motown standards.
