Although I didn't have to rely upon my BA degree for a career choice I wouldn't trade it now or the experience of it all for the world. I decided to go only because my good friend Don Gulla, class of 71 (God rest his soul) acted upon his acceptance to Arkansas College and decided to attend. As I am sure a few of you felt the same, I needed to get out from under the ¿rule¿, declare my independence and be on my own and with one of my best friends. As I look back at one of the most memorable experiences of my life, I have only Don to thank for that. I love you bro! After graduating Arkansas College (now Lyon College) I joined my Father and Brothers John and Bill in our family business manufacturing and distributing truck bodies and truck related equipment. In 1991 we accepted an offer from IKEA who purchased our property in the port of Elizabeth, NJ where they plan to renovate the waterfront and construct a convention center, shopping malls and hotels.
