Mitch's Story
Life
After graduating from LPHS, I went to Cal Poly and earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management. I worked for Market Basket Stores all through college and then joined Safeway Stores after graduation as an Industrial Engineer. In 1967 I went to work for 7 Eleven Stores and spent the next 21 years in a variety of management positions. d a brief one-year retirement, I re-entered the workforce when I was recruited to join Circle K stores as Chief Operating Officer in Phoenix. I retired again 1996 and moved to Santa Barbara where I live with my wife, Jeffyne, our 10 collies, 15 cats and 15 giant African tortoises...all rescued, of course...on 3 beautiful acres over looking the Pacific. My sons are now 57 and 55. We have three grandchildren ages 24, 25 and 26...and 4 great grandchildren...all living in Southern California.
