I had a lot of friends, only a few really close ones all through school. I attended Yucca, Maryotte, Juniper and PHS. I never thought I would be in Palmdale this long. I don't know what I expected, but I do know I learned to never say never. After I got married and moved to the big city of Lancaster in 1982, I said I would never move back to Palmdale. I also said my kids would not be born at AVHMC. Both boys ages 17 and 21 were born there and in 1999, we moved back to Palmdale. This place has changed so much.
