Jennifer's Story
After Western High, I attended Chapman College in Orange California from 1961-1964. I met my first husband Richard there .
We owned and operated Band n Vocal Mobile Recording Studio in Orange for several years specializing in making records for schools and churches in Orange County and LA County. We sold our business and in 1976 we moved to Canada. We lived in Montreal for two years, and then settled in Vancouver, B.C. After our divorce I remained in Vancouver and didn't return to USA until September 2000.
I have spent many years working in the lumber Industry specializing in Import/Export documentation and transportation.Also worked in the Financial Industry. When I returned to the states I lived a short while in Kansas, and met my husband Ron on Yahoo personals. retired now for 3 years and love it!.
This year I became a Grandma. The best experience of my life. Gabrielle is the most wonderful gift.
My son Jim was in the US Navy for 6 years, and has obtained several degrees, MBA and MPA and last year passed the Bar in Washington State, and now works as a lawyer helping Veterans receive their Benefits. He works for a private organization as their Director of Veterans Benefits.
Retirement is great. We travel quite a bit in our camper taking along with us our dog, Toto. Spend several hours a week at the gym, We have taken a cruise to Alaska and flew to Hawaii. Looking forward to going back!! When not traveling both Ron and I are avid pickleball players!
Never thought when I attended Western High that I would someday live in Canada, and be married three times, but you just never know where the road takes you, and it has been so much fun along the way!!!
