Jennie's Story
I ran around with the Jefferson Village gang when I was in the 7th and 8th grade. I remember Big John, Tommy Sharpe, Buzzy Blair, Linda Altman, and Shirley Nader to name a few. I dated Sonny Chapman in the 9th grade and Carrie Keeler was a close friend. I don't know what happened to her. That time seems like centuries ago.
My sister, Jessie, still lives in VA. Judy Shaffer, my neighbor across the street on Quincy Ave..in Tyler Park, lives in Loganville, and I understand that Marilyn Talmadge,who lived in the house behind me ...Expand for more
on Roosevelt Ave, now lives in Canton, GA. Many of the areas around Atlanta have the look of Falls Church around forty years ago, but It is catching up the the conjestion of the Falls Church area. It has amazed me to find people I grew up with living so close. Who else lives in Georgia.
For the past 30 years, I have been an interior designer, and I don't have plans to retire at this time. I do plan to specialize in design for the aged and those with physical challenges. I guess it will be back to school for a few more courses.
