Life
Once upon a time, I graduated high school and decided that I no longer wanted to be more responsible then my peers. So, I hooked up with the wrong crowd and watched my life fall apart before my very eyes.
Then...after losing two children and deciding that I would not let my children die in vain, I changed my life.
I'm no where near where I thought I'd be at this point in my life, but I'm farther then where I would have been had I continued down the path I was on.
I'm currently engaged to the man I was dating in high school (he didn't go to Anderson; one of his better selling points at the time...lol) and I do not have any children. I'm a graduate of Henry Ford (go Community Colleges...whoo! LOL) and will be graduating from the University of Michigan within the next year. recently promoted to office manager.
Most, if not all, of my friends I've met online and only one or two actually live in this area. There are some people from high school (Jennifer Kovalchick and Jason Richardson, to name the top two people) that I would like to find again and talk to just to see how they are doing. I'm not sure if we could be friends now due to time possibly changing us too much, but they meant the most to me back then and I just want to be aware of their well being.
I'm still a heavy girl, only now my self esteem doesn't suffer because of it. My hair is a different color and I wear glasses now - but other then that, I think I look exactly the same, which is a mixed blessing, I believe.
