Jennifer's Story

I received my teaching degree from the U of O in '79 and taught at Douglas High for a year. Got married and moved to Colorado where we have lived since '81. Have lived in 3 different cities (Colorado Springs, Arvada and now Fort Collins since '91). I have two grown sons, Hal & Jay. My husband, Steve, was a Construction Project Mgr with the City of Fort Collins for 23 years and has recently retired, again. I have worked for the Poudre School District since 2000. I am a Home Bound Teacher -- I tutor students who for one reason or another won't be able...Expand for more
to attend school for an extended period of time. I get mostly HS students as we tutor all subjects and I can handle high math courses. I love my job and am always learning something new. I read what they are reading in literature, constantly brush up on biology, chemistry and geography, and feel really OLD when we cover US History! These kids weren't even born when 9/11 happened! It keeps me on my toes and is very rewarding. I'm active in the United Methodist church, PEO, and my Tri Delta Alumnae group. You can find me on facebook, Jennie Seefeld.
