Jennifer's Story
Life
After High School, and a long line of awful jobs, I moved to Tucson, AZ in 1992 where I met and married my husband Mike. Mike is a Fire Fighter in the Air Force so my life has been eventful! We lived in Okinawa, Japan from 1995-2000. (Talk about living on another planet!) Our first of two daughters, Makayla, was born there. After Japan, we were sent to Hill AFB, in Utah where our second daughter, Irelynn was born. We have 3 crazy cats, pure breed persians named Piggy, Goofus and Chumbly. I'm a stay-at-home mom to the most beautiful girls in the world, and I wouldn't have it any other way!! It's the most rewarding, challenging and best job I've ever had! My husband will be retiring from the military after 20 years of service and we are moving back to Tucson, AZ in June of 2004. UPDATE 6/06 We did, in fact, build that house outside of Tucson and moved in June of 04 after Mike returned from Afghanist...Expand for more
an and then retired from the military. We're SOOOOOO ready to start our new life "after the military". (Its absolutely beautiful here and VERY HOT!)
Mike and I have been happily married for almost 14 years. (Gosh, I feel old when I say that!) Would love to hear from old friends. Hope all has been well for the class of 88!! P.S. The "then" photo is the only one I could find!!! the "now" photo is of my family when we were visiting Mt. Lemmon here in Tucson. Update 2/2021: Wow time flies! Still happily married going on 29 years! Wow......that seems like a long time. lol We are now empty nesters! WOO HOO!! We're also grandparents to an adorable 14 mo old boy named Ares. OMG, did I just say that? Mike is only a few years from retiring from his DOD job at the Army base and can't wait. Enjoying life and hopefully will get to travel some when it's safe again. Hope all has been well for the class of 88!
