Life as a paralegal and involvement in pre-nursing classes have prepared me to be his advocate. Currently, despite foregoing a paycheck to raise my kids, I am involved in helping parents become their childrens' advocate. In November, I will be speaking as a guest lecturer at our community college about the parental aspects of raising a child with special needs. Additionally, I have published a few articles on the Complex Child website.
