Hello - DuVal Class of 1966!
I have been married for 43 years -- that's right, we were married the same year we graduated (actually before graduation) and our marriage is still going strong!
We have one son, who is married with two grand "kitties" -- sadly, no grandchildren yet, but still have hope!
Right out of high school I worked for a while, then had our son. Then went to work at the Heritage Square Apartments for a few years while our son was very young. When he started school, I went to work for Marriott Corp. and stayed ...Expand for more
there for the next 17 years. Left there and knocked around for a couple of years, tried some new ideas and ended up working for a printer in Rockville, MD.
Roy and I moved to South Carolina in April, 2008 and have, for all intents and purposes, retired. I would love to find something to do with my time, but only part time. Otherwise, we love it here!
Have had some hard knocks along the way, but haven't regretted much -- we just try to look to the future and hope that we can enjoy retirement as much as we've enjoyed our life together!
