Jennifer's Story
Goodness, it is hard to believe that school ended almost 30 years ago. What has transpired. Well, got married, had a wonderful son, and then got divorced. Still have the wonderful son... I went back to school and graduated with a degree from Arizona State in Finance and a minor in accounting. Then, met the love of my life and proceeded to get married again. He was a pilot in the Air Force and that took us to Homestead AFB, Florida which is where our daughter was born. Then to Virginia, Mississippi which was where our son was born. My husband retired from the Air Force and we moved to Texas. We were there for ...Expand for more
seven years and finally moved to Georgia, which is where his job is located. While in Texas, I was able to go back to work and 'hone' my skill set again, so when we moved, I was able to get back into the accounting field. I am now an accounting manager with an international company and really love my job. I am going to go back to school, yes, I know it is late in life, but never too late, and get my CPA, then finish my Masters. I do enjoy school more as an adult than as a "kid"... Still married and enjoying our life in the Peach state and still come back occasionally to visit my son and brother and his family...
