Jennifer's Story

Life Hi everyone! Well, lets see. I am married to a great guy, his name is Bob. He is a Special Forces Green Baret in the army and spent June of 2003 to June of 2004 in Afghanistan. I am very proud of what he does and what he has done for our country. We have three great children. Megan is 18 (yikes!), Collin is 13, and Addy is 10. They keep us real busy with all of their activities. My oldest will be graduating this spring from high school with her associate degree from college. She is contemplating going to med school...I really hope she does! I am a Registered Nurse and I work at Primary Children's Medical Center in the newborn intensive care unit. I have worked there since January of 2002 except for the year that we lived in England. I was lucky enough to work in a cute little newborn intensive care unit in Peterborough, England. g all the differences between working as a NICU nurse in America and n England. I love working in the NICU so much that I am now going back to school at the University of Utah to become a Doctorate Neonatal Nurse Practitioner up at Primary's. It means three MORE years of school, but I seem to be a pro at going to school so why stop now? We have finally settled back into life here in America but we sure do miss all of my husbands family in England and all of the wonderful friends that we made there. We were so lucky when we were living in England and were able to travel a lot. We visited France four times (Disneyland Paris twice), Spain, Italy, Africa, Amsterdam, Ireland, and Scotland. We had a blast and we feel lucky that we were able to show our kids so much of the world. I am so very happy in my life and I feel very lucky! I hope all of you are doing well too. :)
