Jennifer's Story
Hmmm.... Career junk first.... went to Cal Poly graduated with BS in Agriculture in 1987. Worked in Napa for awhile as Personnel Administrator for Napa Valley Wine Train. Moved to Fresno for awhile. Then finally.... moved back home to PR to be a stockbroker at Dean Witter Reynolds. Best memory of the career world was training to be a broker in 92' at the World Trade Center in NY for 4 weeks. We actually lived in the Vista Hotel located in tower 1of the World Trade Center. What an awesome experience and what a huge loss to all of us on 9/11.
So much for the career path... I was a broker for all of six years until I met my man. Michael is from Georgia so no-one will know him. Kinda nice how that works... LOL we settled first in Ventura. I love that place... heaven on earth with 75 degree weather year ro...Expand for more
und. Then when we started having kids I had this urge to get home. So, I scrapped the career and became a mom to 3 beautiful kids. We live in Templeton where I have the best career of all. I am a mom and I work at the kids elementary school doing reading intervention for at risk kids. Definetly my most rewarding jobs ever... even though the pay isn't all that grand.
My kids are 11, 10, & 8 and very active showing animals in 4-H, football, youth cheer, baseball and softball. My husband is a great guy... he would have to be to put up with me. Life is good! I guess I was MIA for our last reunion... even though my folks have lived in the same place and had the same phone number since 1960. Go figure ! ? ! Anyway, I'd love to hear from my classmates... and know of any future reunions. Visit me on facebook.
