Jennifer's Story
Life
Never thought I would be a mom of three - a 17-1/2-year-old boy, 14-1/2-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old girl. I married young, at 22. I'm currently living in Valencia, California, and love it much more than the Valley!! I made it into the RN program at Pierce College, but dropped out a semester before obtaining my RN degree. What a mistake!!! But I did end up getting my AS degree in Science in Mathematics - what seemed like years later!!
I have had numerous jobs in between being primarily a mom. Some of them include medical office work, medical billing (get the drift - I love the medical field, STILL!!), and selling real estate in the Santa Clarita Valley (LOVED the mula, hated the stress!!). I recently started working part-time again doing medical transcribing (from home - what a luxury!) which I really enjoy! I love to watch reality shows - some of my favorites are Amazing Race, Survivor, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, The Apprentice. I also enjoy news magazine shows like Dateline, Primetime, etc. ER is one of my all time favorites.
I have fun selling and buying on eBay (wish I had come up with that billion dollar idea...) and surfing the internet. Someday I hope to be independently RICH!! (yeah, right!!!).

we do a lot of traveling, actually RVing. I am not the camping type, but my husband grew up doing it. So, if I want to go on a vacation with the family, I better start liking it!! We drove across the country 4 years ago - made it to Maine!! I wanted to visit family in Rhode Island, and my fear of flying got the best of me. We went to Washington DC, Elvis' home, New York, and many other places. I was most touched by the Twin Tower site and the Oklahoma bombing site (yes, we visited this memorial). The tragedy of both really hit when you are physically there. I must say, it was probably the greatest trip I ever had, and know my kids will remember it for a lifetime.
Unfortunately at this time, I am going through a divorce. Never thought it would happen, but life throws us some nasty curves.
I'm hoping to hear from some past Chatsworth friends and acquaintances. I purchased the 20-year Reunion book, and Todd Pallett, if you are reading this, you live right around the corner from me; I'd love to hear from you! I'm also looking for Cindy Dodd, Robbie Taitz, Jay Shore to name a few. I've kept in touch with Karen Pressley and Cindy Molina, both married, and the best friends ever.
