Jennifer's Story
Life
I graduated from Wexford in 1991. Went to University of Guelph where I received my BA in Psychology...and now I am an office manager...go figure. I got married to Ron Paradie in 1997, we have no kids yet (not for lack of trying though!!). We now live in Bradford, Ontario...10 minutes from Newmarket. Hoping to connect with some old friends on classmates. Email me!!
School
High school was the best...I often think about how carefree those days were, and how I would give anything to return to them...especially the ones at Wexford C.I...W.I.T., Peer Counselling, Stage Band, Concert Band, Basketball, Choir, it was the best!! I would love to go to a high school reunion..I am anxiously awaiting one to be announced. Email me so we can stay in touch!!
College
Thanks to Cindy Boyde for making me go to University of Guelph when it wasn't even an OPTION!!!...I got in to every University I applied to, but she talked me into going to Guelph, then left me there cause she couldn't stand being ...Expand for more
away from her boyfriend! I stuck it out and graduated with a BA in Psychology...and those times I felt like quitting, all I had to do was remember the fact that she quit, and the fact that I wasn't a quitter. I DID IT!!! And I love the U of Goo!!!
Workplace
I loved working at Lilly...I was in almost every department at one time or another - Packaging, Manufacturing, Accounts Payable, Marketing, Medical Information, etc...but the one position I really liked at Lilly was when I filled in for Pat Henderson on the switchboard. How exciting to be able to see all of the big business-men and women coming for meetings, being able to say hi to all of the staff, and know what was going on in the whole building! The reason I worked in so many different departments was because I was a student, who got the job because my Mom, Cathy Francis was in the Packaging/Finishing Dept...she later moved to the office in Q.A. with Glenda Drew.
