Jennifer's Story
Life
I am going to make this short and sweet...I'm living outside of Philadelphia and I love it here. It has become my home. I took me a while to "settle down" but I now have a wonderful partner ( yes, partner...as in not a husband, a partner:). We are in the process of adopting a beautiful 2 year old. She has been living with us for a year and a half in foster care ( technically, but she has been our daughter since the day we met her). This has been an incredible journey that is not over yet. Having a 2 year old in your life helps you appreciate life's small pleasures!
Professionally, I work as an occupational therapist in a school for the blind. I would have never thought that is what I would end ...Expand for more
up doing but I love it. I have great and crazy co-workers which makes any job great.
As far as hobbies, I have many that I haven't had nearly enough time for in the past year and a half but I've kept myself busy the past 19 years being a jack of all trades, master of none! I still love drumming and have had various outlets for that - bands, a drum circle and playing at my church ( yes, at church). I have dabbled in everything from rugby to wrestling ( the real kind, not the naked kind!) to making jewelry and mosaics.
I am not sure what else to write on this bio. My life has taken so many different directions and turns I never would have dreamed it would in high school but I am so glad it did.
