Jennifer's Story
Well now that I'm 40 (UGH!) I've really been thinking alot about all my old Odessa friends! I was just wondering where all of y'all are! And since certain people didn't make it to the 20th reunion (JASON, BURKIE....Grrrrr!! I really missed seeing you two!) I thought I might be able to catch up with you here!
Mark & I have made it for 23 years, longer than most thought we would, but we are now legally seperated with our divorce scheduled to be final in September. We had a good run but have both grown in seperate directions. I wish him nothing but the best! And I absolutely DREAD going back into the dating scene! Shoot, I don't even know how to begin! Oh well, like I've always heard, it's best not to go looking...love will find it's way to you...errrrr, me...I guess! I've been a nurse for the last 13 years or so specializing in reimbursement consulting. We moved our family out here to East Texas about 8 years ago and I truely enjoy it here. It's nice, slow & quiet...but I hate the humidity! Oh well, everything has it's downside! I figure I'll eventua...Expand for more
lly get use to it! As most of you know, we had 4 kids in our marraige but they aren't really "kids" anymore. Brittany (the one in my belly when we graduated...) is 21 and has a beautiful little baby boy (yea, yea, yea...I'm a grandmother! What goes around, comes around..or so they say!), Courtney is 20 and still lost in the world but she's very bright and I see wonderful things ahead of her, Luke is 17 and the spitting image of Mark except he's actually BIGGER than Mark was...6'1", 250 lbs! He's in 10th grade this year and he started on both the offense & defense Varsity football team. He's a great kid and he lives with me. And then there is Cain who is 15. He lives with Mark. He is also extremely smart with the most refreshing sense of humor I think I have ever seen!
