Jennifer's Story
Life
One thing about life is it is ever changing and you never know what may be coming up around the bend. After 13 years, I recently closed my mortgage loan processing business and took a job with Procter & Gamble as a Merchandising Coverage Rep. It's a nice flexible part time job that is allowing me to take on my next big challenge in my business life.
I have recently started working in the area of mortgage loan modifications. After a disappointing experience with the first company I worked with, I have now found a totally legitimate company to work for in my town. Now I market the services of attorneys who do loan modifications in all 50 states to both individuals and companies who want to develop this aspect of their own business.

tually pretty good at it. I am still in survival mode because of the economy but I am pleased to find out that I have found something I can do for my "second act". I have always planned to spend the last part of my career selling real estate and now I know I will be successful which is encouraging. The plan is to continue honing my sales skills while the economy recovers, then I will transition into the real estate field which is for us a family business.
I am finally getting used to the fact that my baby is 17 and only has one year of high school left. Being a mom was and is the best job I have ever had and I am so proud of my son and happy about where his life is headed.
But I am really excited to be back to work in a serious way and hopefully this is something that will continue to challenge me in the future to get me over the coming "empty nest" syndrome.
