Jennifer's Story
I am married to a wonderful man named Dave. We have been together since 1994 and married since June of 1996. We currently live in a small town in IL. We have a very spoiled Aussie named Oreo(13 years old). After years of travel we decided to start a family. Our two beautiful children are from Guatemala. Dorian came home in Jan. 2005 (born 9/04) and Lauren came home in Sept 2007 (born 2/07). We are very proud about our adoptions as they were done by an agency with a great reputation(not all are illegally handeled as TV would tell you).
I am happy to say I am a stay at home Mom. There is nothing better than to be with your children as they learn and grow, even on the bad days. My days are filled with Geo Trax, Noggin, Nick Jr, dolls and story books. We have great neighbors that we socialize with all the time. During the summer if you light your torches your yard will be the meet place. We are also very close to our family and spend quite a lot of time with them.
Dave is still employed by UPS. He has been there since 1989. He loves his job because he is in contact with lots of people every day. Althought he hates the hours around Christmas time, he loves to play Santa by delivering all the ordered presents and helps parents by making sure no kids are around to spoil their Christmas when the box ...Expand for more

We have traveled to many places by going on cruises. Our favorite summer get away is camping in our pop-up trailer. On a great weather weekend my husband will be called by me saying I'm packing the trailer and we will meet you with it at Carlyle Lake.
During the summer we love to see Gateway Grizzlie games. They are a minor league baseball team that play for the love of the game and not the money. The stadium is very family friendly and cheaper than going to a Cardinal game. Try getting seats in the first few rows by first base at every Cardinal game and pay only $8 a seat, popcorn for $1.50 and soda for $1.50 or even draft beer for $3.50!! Your kids can help clean/sweep the bases for the teams, take water to the umps or on top of the dug outs to sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" or play a game for prizes.

Also, I'm sure many have noticed I am not from Dupo High School. I have DHS on my profile for Dave instead of us both paying for membership. Right now our son is attending Dupo Elem. and he really likes his school and thinks the tiger is pretty cool.
