Jennifer's Story
Life
After we graduated I went to school at Western Oregon State College and by spring break of my first year Richard and I decided to get married. So I came back to GP and started planning a wedding.
In Aug. 1992 we got married. I continued going to school at RCC for a while until we decided to start a family.
With a little help from science we got pregnant in 1994. In December 1994 we had our first child, a little boy named Christopher. He was injuried during birth and died at 5 days old.
In 1996 we were blessed with a healthy little girl. Who is very active and keeps us busy.

Richard is working at Les Schwab and I am working at the new hospital here in town nights so I can be home during the day with Stephanie, our little girl.
In 1997 we bought our first house here in GP. I enjoy spending time with my family and helping other families that have lost infants, expecially ones from the vacuum extractor. As a family we spend time on the river, either jetskiing or rafting.
At the end of 2004 we sold our first house and decided to build a house. It took us a little while but in May of 2006 we moved into our new house that we had built. We are just getting settled but loving it.
