Hi! I was super shy all through school and didn't change until I was in my 20s, SO I knew a lot of students by name and 'face' but would never have dreamed of talking to them! I had a handfull of friends in that huge class of '58! I took mainly business classes and was in the Acapella Choir. Fortunately I eventually changed and became more outgoing! Right after graduating from Hoover in '58 I attended Southwestern Cosmetology school in downtown San Diego, graduated, and went to work at a salon in the College area. Later that year I married and moved to Connecticut and eventually had a tiny, premature litte girl and along with my husband moved to Virginia until 1962 when we returned to San Diego. After a divorce, lots of working full time and taking care of my daughter along with tons of help from my parents, (and some fun thrown in for good measure), I met and married my husband Tim in 1965 and had two more daughter...Expand for more
