Jerry's Story
Life
So where do I start? I married my high school sweet heart instead of growing up a lot more. That lasted just long enough to produce 3 daughters. I allowed God to pick the second time. Jill and I have been married 22 amazing years. We raised 2 of the girls and added 2 sons. The girls are now 28, 27, and 27. The boys are 15 and 5. Yes we have quite a spread. We have 9 grandchildren with 2 more arriving this spring. We've lived in Santa Ana, Riverside, San Diego, and now Little Rock, Arkansas. I was an auto mechanic until back problems forced a change in 1987. I completed an intensive retraining program run by IBM in San Diego. In 1989 I was hired as a computer programmer by a company which had an office in San Diego. One short year later the company transferred us to their headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas. We bought an old two story ...Expand for more
brick house built in 1925 from the original owners. The girls live close by. Their older sister lives in Santa Ana near her mom. We love to go camping and moving to Little Rock has given us the chance to see parts of the country I never thought we would. We've taken our little pop-up trailer to Niagra Falls, Washington D.C., and up the East Coast to Maine. We've camped in the Smokey Mountains and crossed the Ohio River. Both of my parents are gone. Jill is a San Diego native. Her parents along with her brother and his family still live in San Diego. I've gotten rounder over the years, added reading glasses, and just got my first pair of hearing aids. I'm not sure which will be totally silver first, my hair or my beard, but both are trying very hard. And yes, not all Arkansans have the same moral standards (or lack of) as the Clintons do.
