Jerry's Story
I graduated from college with a degree in electrical engineering and was commissioned in the US Army the same day. I intended to stay 3 years and remained for over 27 - was having a great time. I retired as a Colonel in the year 2000; the Pentagon was my last assignment. I worked for another 12 years in several fortune 500 companies (AT&T, BAE Systems and Dell Computers). tdoors outfitter). My older son served in the Army, did two combat tours in Afghanistan and recently graduated from medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. My younger son is a manager for American Airlines and works at Washington-Reagan International Airport, Washington, DC. My wife and I retired to North Carolina for the slower pace, milder weather and to be nearer to my older brother Rich (Petaluma class of 1966).
