Jeremy's Story
Life
My name is Jeremy David Rogers but my street / stage name is Maggot. I thought of the name myself because I am a die-hard Slipknot fan. I was born on July 17, 1984 in Upland, California, then moved to Big Bear a short time later. I grew up there all of my life. After getting kicked out of two different schools in Big Bear I moved to Crestline during my senior year of high school. My other two years were wasted in Utah. But I did get good grades. I later got framed for a death threat that to this day I swear I didn't make. During my incarceration I graduated from Rim of the World High School. I now play in a death metal / black metal band called Darkest Symphony and am getting songs ready for our self-titled 2-song demo. It should be a sick demo. I am the guitarist and one of the singers in the band. I also have a pet parakeet named Tweety. Well, that's all for now. Later.

***UPDATE*** Well, I've been starting to get into punk rock, so ever since Darkest Symphony broke up, I've been trying to either find a band or start my own. So far, I've found a co-frontman for my band, Tantrum. All we need now is a drummer, bassist, and lead guitarist and we'll be all set. I'm also training to become a recording engineer. My grandparents got a pet sun conure named Spanky almost a year ago, so now Tweety's got a next-door neighbor. I left Darkest Symphony because their singer, who played drums in the band at the time, was a control freak and wanted things done his way. Plus, I was on the verge of being kicked out of the band for not being able to shred as fast as all the other heavy metal guitarists. A lot, if not all, of my solos tend to be more melodic than fast. So now, I'm going to play rhythm guitar in Tantrum as well as sing. Well, that's all for now. Later.
