Jeri's Story
After High School, I attended Hofstra University for four years. Got married. Upon achieving a Bachelor of Science in Music I began teaching directly after graduation and three years thereafter.
Circumstances changed due to declining enrollment, and I ended up in the elementary classroom teaching kindergarten and then second grade. All told, I've been in the classroom for 23 years and have also taught in an an inclusion/differentiated classroom setting. I've been teaching second grade for the past eighteen years.

ment. Both are excellent musicians, sing and dance. When my oldest was six months of age, I returned to school to finish my Masters Degree in Education. I've been a presenter at a writing conference (Nassau Community College), and did a fellowship in writing (1996).
Got re-married in 2005 after being on my own for about five years. Those times were alternately terrifying, wonderful,surprising,stressful, amazing, and led to much self-discovery. A time of tremendous growth in my life. I was voted Primary School Teacher of the Year in 2007.Looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.It really doesn't seem like 35 years have passed and yet...it's 2009. Yikes!
